Pumphouse, Clontarf, Dublin

The design of a new structure to house utilities on the coastal promenade of Clontarf, Dublin.

The existing brick-clad structure was demolished and replaced with a new angular copper-clad housing. Much of the surrounding area was re-landscaped and illuminated by bespoke tubular pole lighting.

This project has been highly acclaimed in both the architectural and national press and was nominated for the prestigious Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) triennial Gold Medal.
