The potential of the 19th century listed studio needed to be realized while maintaining its unique charm. This called for the complete reconfiguration of the interior space.
The existing walls and ceiling linings were replaced throughout while preserving the historical paneling. New purpose-built cupboards were designed for the perimeter of the ground floor while movable shelving made for the mezzanine level contain files, books and artifacts
The ground floor generally serves as a meeting room although it is flexible enough to accommodate two substantial work areas.
The main working area is on the mezzanine level where continuous work surfaces provide space for a number of computers, printers and architectural models.
The mezzanine level benefits from undisrupted views onto the garden below.
